Excuse me, but my life is waiting.

All questions when asked out of context are stupid questions

There’s a saying that there’s no such thing as a stupid question. I beg to differ.

All questions when asked out of context are stupid questions. It’s not a matter of whether the person asking is smart or stupid, but that the question itself is irrelevant to the situation at hand and therefore deemed stupid.

That said, if you asked a stupid question but are convinced that it is not a stupid question, the onus is on you to justify and validate why since no logical connection can be easily or quickly made. Simply insisting that it isn’t a stupid question doesn’t quite cut it. In fact, the very action of insisting that an irrelevant question is appropriate with no validation is the very thing that will convince me that most of your brain cells must be fried.

Which brings me to the point that if we spend more time talking and less time making sure that the point we are trying to make is understood, the conversation isn’t going to go very far. In fact, all that one is generating is noise. If you’re just concerned about saying your piece but don’t care if the other party understands it, what is the point of saying it all in the first place?

Some people baffle me with their noise and irrelevance.

As you can tell, i’m in a bad mood today.

Heartache. Paid off most of my accommodation for my UK year end trip. Painfullllllllllllllllll.

But guess the upside is that I don’t need to think about “escaping cash” on the trip there.

Foie Gras

Do you like foie gras? Personally, i’ve never tasted it before so I don’t know. Though alot of people i know like animals and who keep pets like to eat this awful, awful dish.

I’m finding it quite difficult to reconcile my disgust for the fact that people endorse and excuse animal cruelty because of their gluttony and the fact that other than this small little very disturbing fact, I really like these folk on a day to day basis!

PLEASE DON’T EAT FOIE GRAS. I’ve heard it’s really tasty but think of how the goose felt! I know it sounds stupid to “think of how the goose felt” but honestly, animals have feelings too. And I’m sure anyone who has ever owned a pet before knows that. Feelings aside, it’s torture day after day, from the day the goose is born, it’s force fed until it’s ass ruptures and tummy bursts and dies. C’mon, all that for a freaking piece of liver?!!!?!!?!?!?!?

And why would anyone in their right mind want to pay premium dollar to eat a diseased liver? It’s DISEASED!!!! I feel so angry and sad and sorry for the ducks at the same time that i feel like crying.

And really, you should not eat it just because atas people eat it okay?! It’s not atas at all.

And no, not thinking about it but still eating it doesn’t help matters at all. You’re still eating it!!!!

I hope all the people who eat foie gras get reborn as ducks in their next life!!!

Bah. My friends, these people.  :(

~~~~~~~
Foie Gras means “Fat Liver” and is originally from France. Getting a liver so plump and tender comes from overfeeding the goose/duck until it has fatty liver disease. Let’s check out how they really get it this way.
+++
First of all, the geese are fed very often, even when they are not hungry.
3
A metal pipe is shoved down their throats and food is shoved through the pipe directly to their stomachs. This is what plumps up the liver.
4
They are stuck in tiny cages with no room to move or walk. Their legs bloat up from standing all day.
5
They don’t have much time to sleep because before you know it, it’s feeding time again. Sometimes they try to defend themselves, but it is quite useless.
6
They are forced to eat until they are dead or until their bodies cannot stand this torture any longer. See how much food is cruelly stuffed into this goose from the stomach all the way up to the mouth. Sometimes their stomachs split open. Imagine the amount of pain these animals are in.
8
This overfeeding causes them to crap a lot so much so their butts get badly inflamed and they bleed at the ass.
9
A lifetime of torture for this. Is it worth it?
p.s: i copied the following thingy on foie gras from this blog that i read. I’m guessing she shouldn’t mind the plagarism too much since, well, she doesn’t endorse foie gras either.
