I prob will get shot down by like a million people for saying this…but i really can’t help it. I feel fat.

It’s really weird how God designed a woman’s brain. I mean, I know for a FACT that I am not fat…but I can’t help but feel fat and thus think I look fat.

Ok, the guys can go piss off now becuz I am sure they don’t have a clue what the hell am i saying.

It’s awful. I blame it all on Xmas turkey with cranberry stuffing, my bro’s Secret Recipe banana chocolate cake that was served with a too-generous dollop of chocolate chip ice-cream, the fatty bacon hidden under the turkey, the numerous Passion Fruit Barcardi Breezers (which are btw, extremely good and a must try!), beach cocktails and Goan fenny shots, the tandoori chicken and legs of mutton, the multiple servings of naan and curry, the delectable and awfully sweet indian deserts and yummilicious kofi…wah lao..and no gym for like 2 1/2 weeks!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.

Next up is New Year’s dinner at Mich. I just can’t say no to a plate with food on it when I can read the secret smoke steam signals screaming “EAT MEEEEEEEEE”.

I think i need help.

Amazing India

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of updates despite being in SG for about a week now. Came back on the 18th night actually..just been busy trying to catch up on my sleep, do last minute shopping and eat as much SG food my stomach can take.

Gosh. You won’t believe how much I missed our local food. The carrot cake, char siew fan and mee hoon kuey…waaah..i couldn’t be more tired of tandoori, naan, dosa, masala and curry man. I mean, indian food is tasty..but when you come from a country where you can have an international selection at the humble hawker center, it’s kinda hard to adjust to just 1 type of cuisine.

Anyhow, the trip to India was definitely one of the most memorable trips I have taken in my life so far.

Tellme-tellme land

I just finished planning my work schedule for 2008 and it seems like 08 will be a difficult year for holidays. Even worse, 3 out of 11 conferences will be held in India, aka Tellme-Tellme land, where every conversation starts with “Tell me.”

For someone who needs a holiday every quarter, I seriously don’t know how am I gg to survive next year.

And don’t tell me my business trips should be considered holidays because u really have no idea the amount of work that we put in for one of these trips, or the amount of sleep that we get. I’d actually like to have a holiday that doesn’t come attached with a marketing plan cum sales target.

Anyway, I’m glad the year end is near…freaking 8 more days to Goa and The Leela man!!!

The Pilgrim’s Regress

Mortal lovers must not try to remain at the first step; for lasting passion is the dream of a harlot and from it we wake in despair.

C. S. Lewis (1898 – 1963), ‘The Pilgrim’s Regress’

As always, some of my stories are true, some part truth part imagination and others complete works of fiction.

Enjoy.

What would/should you make of a guy who is:

  1. Married
  2. Nationality – PRC
  3. Wife is a true-blue Singaporean
  4. Cannot speak or understand proper English despite having lived in SG for 5 years i.e. everything you say needs to be said twice. Once in English and then a 2nd (and up!) time in Mandarin.
  5. Has baaaaaaaddddd breath
  6. Thinks its cool for guys to be sex-crazy beings who would love, above everything else, to have flings, watch porn, visit strip bars and grab hostesses.
  7. Is NOT good looking. At all.

I think im biased but I just can’t help but wonder what did his wife see in him???
I mean, it can’t be the bad breath for sure.

The best S$2K spent in my life

Sorry, this post is a little late..i had some problems with uploading the pics on slide..
Anyway…..

Now that Zsa Zsa’s leg has recovered somewhat, we went to Sentosa on Saturday with Mich n Cocoa.

You know, the S$2000 used to fix Zsa Zsa’s leg is the best S$2K i have ever spent in my entire life. It just makes me so happy to see zz walk around and move more like a normal dog. Although she doesn’t have 100% mobility and sometimes her leg gives way, but it’s still a marked improvement from the days when all she would do was to lie down at home.

So! Zsa zsa was 1 damn happy dog on Saturday. I think she was most pleased to be able to walk most of the way herself and not get knocked over by the waves when she was on the beach. Check out the pics after the jump..
