Excuse me, but my life is waiting.

Whatever you do, do not visit Menotti

Had dinner and drinks with Mich and Justin yday.
The company was good. The drinks at Loof were great. But whatever you do, do not go to Menotti.

Menotti sucks.

I used to think that Menotti cakes were great and their service, better than average..but yday, I think Justin was kinda worried that I’d start a screaming match in the restaurant when I found a (short and curly!!) hair nestled in one of my king scallops.

Marking my mark

Bored, bored, bored…to the extent i need to know what type of exclaimation mark I would be if I were punctuation.

So, turns out I am an Exclaimation mark.

Your Score: Exclamation point

You scored 61% Sociability and 47% Sophistication!

Yes, you are fine around others. Fine. But you wish you could have just a *little* more alone time. Okay, well, a lot more alone time. In fact, you’d be happier if you didn’t have to go out nearly as much. You get along very well with the period, who tries mightily to take up as much of the load as he can. But fools will not listen. You want to scream, “Cut it out, for the love of Safire!” But, all of that notwithstanding, you do your duty. And, if sometimes you feel like a Chicago street hooker, you also remember that you really do have an important role to play. Your soul remains pure. Hold your head high!

Rules for having a Fuck Buddy

I meet the most interesting people and get told the oddest things.
Hehehe. For which I am always very glad because it’s always so entertaining and life is seldom boring. Anyway people, keep the gossip, bitching and sordid sex stories coming!!

Anyway, moving on…on MSN some time last week, I was “enlightened” on the Rules for having a Fuck Buddy by this guy friend on mine. And as I was writing transcribing this entry, a gf asked me what I was doing and upon finding out that I was compiling a (very male oriented) list, she decided that she had to add her 2 cents worth too.

And so, the golden rules of having a FB from a male and female perspective are….

I’m sorry…say what?!

I was caught in a most awkward situation yday evening.

I was on the bus on the way to the gym. As it was very crowded, I made an immediate beeline for the back and plonked my ass on the nearest available seat. After sitting down, I noticed that one of the girls in the seat in front of me looked very familiar. For quite a while, I couldn’t place her.

I apologise. I am terrible at names…and not all that good with faces either.

Anyway, after running through a number of possibilities in my mind, I finally recalled that she was an ex-colleague. Back in the days when I did roadshows for Starhub, she and I had worked together on occasion.

All Good Things Are Because of God. Really?

I noticed that all religious people have 1 thing in common – They don’t believe in coincidence and everything that happens, happens for a reason.

Which is fine by me. Whether something happens for a reason, or if was a random occurrence, it’s just the same. To me it is but a matter a perspective.

You see, even if something happened because God made it so, you wouldn’t have known it at the time. Say you lost your job, whether or not it was God’s hand at work or you got backstabbed with a vengeance at work and ended up fired, you’d be upset nonetheless.

Point is, either way, it’s a bad situation to be in and it’s already happened. A random occurance or God’s will, is but what you wish to believe.

Call me unenlightened…but I have yet to meet somebody who can smile in light of a bad situation and wholeheartedly say “It’s all good. This is God’s will. And because God has it all planned out and I will be taken care of, I am not upset and I am not going to complain.”

Dear You,

I think I saw you the other day. It was crowded though, so I’m not too sure if it was really you that I saw, or if it was someone else. Maybe you saw me, maybe you didn’t.

It’s okay, either way.

I apologize for not going over to say hi, but I didn’t know if you wanted to be seen, so I decided to just do nothing.

However, me being me, I am unable to contain this within myself for long. So rather than talk to someone, I decided to write you a cryptic little note here to get it off my chest.

I will never say “I can’t do it” for salsa, or anything else, for that matter.

Just check this guy out. He is freaking 1 legged and is dancing like a pro! Heck, he can even do shines that incorporate pushups in a super fast salsa song.

He is so amazing. I am so impressed.
This only goes to show that you really can so anything if you put your mind to it.

No reason to say you can’t do it. The only reason why you can’t, is because you are too lazy to try.

The Great Batam Escapade aka Visit to Rose’s House

Sorry folks..abit slow in updating..but that’s how it is whenever there are photos involved. :P

Anyway, 2 weekends ago, popped by Rosita’s place in Batam for a weekend getaway..AND to celebrate both her and Desmond’s birthday. I LOVE her house btw.

Batam is great. The food is freaking cheap (S$1++ for a bowl of noodles) and very delicious. I even managed to get a full body massage for less than S$20.. all thanks to Rose who knew all the good (and cheap) places. Her bro and family were also  very gracious to ferry us around town…thanks to them, we could get to all these far flung places.

That said, you should only go Batam if you have a guide…the public transport is next to non-existent.

Of Dogs and Men…

This is interesting.

I just found out that dogs can get STDs too. Apparently, they can get herpes, Brucellosis and other types of sexually transmitted diseases.

According to Rob Knell, a biology professor at the Universityof London, “STDs are widely distributed throughout the animalkingdom.” He adds, “There are even STDs of plants that are carried by pollinating insects.”

I was curious to find out more about DPV and so i googled “can dogs get stds” and the results were hilarious.

Seems like there are more people in the world having illegal animal sex than I imagined.

For your entertainment below..

Sex with dog – STDs?

Can a Human Woman get pregnated by a animal?

Oh my, the things people do in this world. Amazing.
