According to Murphy’s law, whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time.
I am sick. Very sick yday and still sick now. And of all days, why today? On the day that I will be taking a bloodly long flight (with stale cabin air) to Edinburgh.
Yesterday night and this morning passed like a daze. I was wandering around, trying to do some last minute packing..but just couldnt for the life of me figure out what I had already packed and what I needed to include. So there I was, walking to and fro…
AND a visit to the doctor set me back by S$60!!! Ridiculous.
I am so angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why must I be sick NOW?!!!!!!

Remember I said sometime back that I’d come back to the topic of religion?
Well…I came across this blog post today and thought that the arguments put forth by the blogger sound very valid. Well, definitely much much muuuuucccccch more rational than the way I put forth mine.
After reading it, it really made me question how much free will do we really have.

A smutty, sordid idea that is deemed too racy, vile and vulgar in our boring everyday lives to even surface as words. Some of my stories are true, some part truth part imagination and others complete works of fiction. Trust that you have the sensibility discern fact from fiction…AND not get offended.
Enjoy.
Read Between Scylla and Charybdis after the jump …

Ok, I kind of lost some sleep after putting up the Girl in Red post yday…being rather worried how you guys will judge me for it.
Despite having included disclaimers and whatnot, I still have the nagging suspicion that a number of people will come to the conclusion that I’m some closet bi-sexual or that I harbor some perverted sexual fantasies and stuff.
So I did consider password protecting / removing / editing the story so that you guy will not think i am weird or get pissed with me for writing that or whatever.
But, doing that would be similar to admitting to a crime that I did not commit. The Girl in Red was written quite a while ago and has been online on an anonymous blog for some time now. Editing, removing or password protecting would not quite do it justice I feel. Where is the artistic integrity if it is edited?
Of course, it could be argued that I should be more careful with what I post, but then again, this is my blog so why should I have to censor my posts, my stories and my views for some people who think they know me but really do not?
I don’t see why I should censor myself for people who dogmatically pursue jaundiced views of me without getting to know me well personally first.
The problem with writing provocative stories/stuff and publishing them online is that alot of people who read my blog think they know me but in actuality, they do not. A blog offers but a glimpse into the life of a person. But it is just a very one-sided and biased glimpse.
My blog is not my life. My work is not my life. Salsa is not my life. They are but facets of my life. So unless you talk to me, share my problems, counsel me when I am down on and see me on a regular basis, do not for 1 instant think that you know me.
If you cannot say that you know me, please try not judge me.
Anyway, I am going to leave The Girl in Red the way it was originally published.
If you feel very strongly that it should be taken down or somehow offends your moral sensibilities, msn or email me and I decide whether to password protect the post.
Thanks.

Thought I had better at least post something up so that you won’t arrive here and go “OMG. It’s just the same thing!”.
Well, it’s not. For one thing, there’s a private post function. Built in stats counter. And a whole string of other cool stuff that i haven’t figured out how to use yet.
With this move, I also decided that i’m gg to categorize my posts. Starting from this one. Going to leave posts prior to this one uncategorized. No way i am gg to reread all my 400+++ posts just to categorize them.
Anyway, recently been too bogged down by work at work (righteously so if I may add) to update much. Nothing note worthy happened either…So…er, till something interesting happens I guess.
p/s: Thanks for coming to my new blog address!

I am damn happy. Nearly fainting from happiness.
Happy because I discovered that I can take a salsa lesson in Bath, Wiltshire (England) for 6.50 pounds (S$19.50). Learn salsa in England leeeiiiiii.
DDDDDD
Super happy because it’s such a lucky coincidence. Out of 15 days, I will only be spending 1 day in Bath. The salsa folks at Bath conduct lessons on Tuesday.
My 1 day in Bath is a Tuesday.
And there are also classes just about every day of the week in Edinburgh and Glasgow..so I can go dance there too when I am in Scotland. Learn salsa in Scotland leeeiiiii. Heeheehee.
Oh, and then there is London. Where Super Mario and Susana Monterio teach. Yiippppeeeee!
I’m so glad. Now I know what to do with myself after all the tourist attractions and shops have closed. And fyi, they all close EARLY.
I am 1 very happy girl. I am so glad the bug decided to come back and bite me.
Only 1 problem. I don’t have enough time. >_
p/s: sorry for the lack in updates. Too busy trying to book accommodation, plan my itinerary and look for places to dance in the UK to update. Will try to though.
